Permission for development which consists of: We, the Health Service Executive, intend to apply to Galway City Council for retention permission for development at Merlin Park University Hospital, Galway. The proposed development to be retained comprises of the installation of mechanical and electrical plant components at roof level on the permitted Surgical Hub Building (Pl. Reg. Ref. 24/60098) and includes the following: - The provision of new roof-mounted ventilation exhaust terminals and connecting ductwork to serve the internal ventilation system; - The provision of a lightning protection system consisting of interceptor terminals; - The provision of a Distributed Antenna System (DAS) including 3 no. donor antennas; - The provision of 3 no. total boiler and hot water flues.
